So You Say You Are Pro-Life
I am sure everyone is aware of the recent Supreme Court ruling on Roe vs Wade. For our culture it is a very controversial ruling with emotions running high on both sides of the debate. I do not want to rehash old arguments. I for one believe that life starts at conception and that all human life has dignity. Others respectfully disagree.
I believe now is the time for the church and all peoples that are on the Pro-Life side of this debate to step into this issue and make a difference. If we are going to be Pro-Life, then we need to really be for helping these people affected by this ruling to flourish. We can not simply wag our fingers and say you made your choice when you procreated. We need to help nourish, educate, protect them, and walk with them through this time.
I do not know what this will look like or really how to get started other than get behind those who have already been active in this space. Here in Oklahoma, we have some organizations that are helping these women and their children. I am listing some of these that have been brought to my attention and am simply encouraging you to do your own investigation and maybe throw some support their way. I am sure they will all welcome any financial support you can offer but would encourage you to consider volunteering, etc.

Please give this some prayer and see how you might get involved. Again, now is for the time for the church to make a difference and be for Life.
